I will keep monitoring this topic, and thank you for reading. Assistance would be greatly appreciated as my home PC is my primary source of work. I realize that in the other thread, the fixlist.txt that were being used are personalized for that person's computer, which is why I have posted my own topic instead of simply following the instructions there. The title of the topic is " ColorMedia.dll connected to the internet but can't get online." and the link to that topic is for reference. My problem seems awfully similar to another topic I found on here via Google. It has not fixed it, but the error messages have stopped appearing. I started getting tons of error messages from a Colormedia.dll, and having only been awake for about 30 minutes (in other words, being stupid), I went in and deleted this DLL thinking it would fix it. So, I ran a system restore point from yesterday, and tried again. When the reboot was finished, my NIC detected a connection to the wireless router in my home, but nothing that required internet access (Steam, Firefox, etc.) could connect or even begin navigating to the internet. Today, like every Saturday, I ran Malwarebytes and SpyBot, rebooting my computer as instructed.
